Act right - save lives!

 

In the first-aid course, you will learn how to act in relation to immediate life-saving measures such as positioning the unconscious person, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, haemostatic measures, etc.

​

It is aimed at:

​

  • Interested persons from the age of 12 with good knowledge of German and ability to work on resuscitation phantoms etc.

You decide between 10 or 7 hours of course attendance.

First aid course classic

10 hours of course attendance, usually spread over 2 days.

3 hours of theory in self-study

plus 7 hours of practical course attendance

* The eNothelfer course is divided into 3-hour self-study and a 7-hour practical course. You can work out the theory yourself on the online platform www.nothelfer-online.ch. After successfully completing the theory, you will attend the 7-hour practical course. Under the expert guidance of instructors, you will learn and practice the use of patient assessment and life-saving emergency measures.

Prerequisite for attending the course

​

  • Sufficient knowledge of German

  • For the eNHK practical course: bring the certificate of the e-learning degree with you

  • For the eNHK practical course: pass the short theory repetition on the practical day

 

First Aid Badge


After completing the course, you will receive the official emergency aid card for driver's license applicants. It is valid for 6 years.

 

Course Topics:

  • General conduct in emergencies (providing an overview, emergency call, security, protection, hygiene)

  • Patient assessment according to the current scheme

  • Awareness: Positioning of unconscious and responsive patients

  • Cardiovascular: heart massage, ventilation, defibrillation, heart attack

  • External bleeding: hemostasis, small wound treatment

  • burns

  • spinal injuries

  • Emergency aid measures in the event of special accidents or emergencies

  • further patient monitoring and care

  • Rights, obligations, opportunities and limits
